Food and Water Testing Specialist joins UK Scientific Testing Campus

Eurofins Food and Water Testing UK & Ireland is set to enhance its testing capability when it relocates laboratory operations in the South East to a new Eurofins Scientific campus later this year.

The company is a leader in UK food and water testing services and will join other specialist scientific analysis businesses in the Group at the 5,000sqm. site at Feltham, close to Heathrow airport.

Following significant investment and reconfiguration of former office accommodation based in Acton and Camberley, the facility will house food sample microbiology and water hygiene analysis.

The site will feature the very latest testing equipment, with the creation of increased laboratory space intended to secure future growth opportunities for the company.

The campus is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year, and will form a national focus point for the overarching Eurofins Scientific, also housing elements of Eurofins Forensic Services Ltd.

A recent strategic business review of operations at the Acton and Camberley sites highlighted benefits of transferring operations to the new campus, in line with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
