Bite-sized webinar: Are dry foods microbiologically safe?

For our first ‘bite-sized’ webinar of 2024, we will be looking at the microbiological safety of dry foods.

Date: 6th February (Thursday)
Time: 11:00am – 11:45am BST

Certainly, these foods are generally considered ‘low risk’, and food businesses frequently consider any powdered ingredients as microbiologically inert. Nonetheless sometimes there are microbiological hazards associated with them. If you want to know more about the food safety considerations, this short webinar is for you.

We will look at some examples of microbiological safety issues in these foods, and briefly consider

  • The pathogens which can be involved
  • The circumstances where issues arise
  • Some foods which carry a risk

After the speaker’s presentation, you can ask questions live so don’t miss the chance if you are keen to learn more about the subject!
