Support

Our services and support will enable you to meet the requirements set out in law, industry standards and best practice guidelines.

Guaranteed response time
We offer a guaranteed response time throughout the UK and Ireland, with any outlying areas, isles or islands on request. Further investment in this area will drive down our response time to within 90 minutes ensuring that we continue to provide you with the quickest response times. The collection service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Our collection technicians are trained and certified to administer alcohol and drug testing to the required Chain-of-Custody standard whether urine, oral fluid or hair.

Random selection programme
We also provide an independent ‘Random Selection Programme’, which enables you to demonstrate that your testing programme is fair, reliable and legally defensible.

Dedicated Account Manager

We will assign a dedicated account manager to your business, a highly-experienced person who will be your single point of contact.

Medical Review Officer

We offer an independent medical review service providing a confidential review of positive results by qualified Medical Review Officers.

The role of the MRO is to review and interpret laboratory results obtained through a drug and alcohol testing programme in conjunction with the individuals’ medical history and any other relevant information, such as dietary intake.

The MRO process protects both the individual and the organisation from the risk of wrongful accusations and is a requirement in certain industry specific standards and best practice guidelines.

Expert Witness

Eurofins Forensic Services is one of the largest independent forensic providers in Europe with our scientists having provided thousands of witness statements and testimonies for court, military adjudication and industrial/employment tribunals.

We can assist you with professional and objective evidence to support your testing programme which helps build a picture of the circumstances under which the misuse took place and assess the implications in terms of employment law, health and safety legislation and the opportunities for employee counselling and rehabilitation.

Policy Advice

Underpinning a successful programme is a company policy on drug and alcohol use, testing and support.

A rigorously observed internal policy which is well publicised within the workplace, meets all legislative and industry requirements and delivered with a light touch, while remaining acceptable to the workforce is the platform for a successful programme.

We can assist you with policy review, specialised consultancy and education.
