Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are determined by automated thermal desorption followed by gas chromatography using mass spectrometric detection (ATD-GC-MS).
Banded aliphatic aromatic petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHCWG) and tentatively identified compounds (TICs) may also be determined.
