Eurofins launches its newly designed GS mark

Eurofins has launched its new GS Mark with an appealing design to enhance visibility and clarity. The new design simplifies the printing of the GS Mark on product rating plates, type labels and packaging. It can be easily integrated in moldings and design tools. (More details)

Navigating the new European Toys Safety Directive

The 2009 Toy Safety Directive (TSD) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union and entered into force on 20 July 2009. The 2009 TSD is written to be aligned with the current practices of toy manufacturers and strengthens the rules as laid down in the 1988 TSD. As a result, 2009 TSD requires adaptations in the manufacturing chain, as well as new procedures along the supply chain. (More details)

Pesticides Lab in Top 10 across Europe

Eurofins UK Contaminants laboratory at Wolverhampton came 8th out of 148 laboratories across Europe for its performance in the EU pesticide proficiency testing (EUPT) scheme. (More details)

Eurofins’ REACH task force ready as deadline looms

The Eurofins Group’s REACH task force has put in place a comprehensive range of products and services to help its customers negotiate the REACH processes, as the one-year deadline for the first submissions arrives. By 1 December 2010 all companies that use high volumes of chemical substances, or those of a very high concern, must have submitted their registrations regarding these chemicals. (More details)
