One year on | NTM testing now aligned with NETB No. 2024/3
It’s been a year since the NHS Estates Technical Bulletin NETB No. 2024/3 (published 27 August 2024) first outlined standards for Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) control in domestic hot and cold water systems.
At Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing UK, we offer NTM testing fully aligned with that bulletin, helping healthcare providers meet compliance and protect water safety.

Guidance | Getting Legionella samples right
To keep results accurate and fully within our UKAS No. 9658 accreditation, it’s important that Legionella samples are collected correctly.
- Please fill bottles to the 1000ml line (clearly marked on the neck)
- A minimum of 500ml is required if 1000ml isn’t possible
- Make sure bottle caps are tightly secured before collection
Our drivers will double-check on collection, but your help ensures samples reach the lab in the best condition. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
