Meet the Team | Sharon Googh - Business Development Manager

Sharon Googh is a Business Development Manager at Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing UK Ltd., bringing over 25 years of laboratory and technical expertise to help clients access reliable, high-quality testing solutions. A graduate of Sussex University with a BSc in Environmental Sciences, Sharon began her career in environmental laboratories, gaining hands-on experience in sample analysis, method validation, and project coordination. Her early work provided a strong foundation in organic chemistry and quality assurance, which she has built upon throughout her career.

Sharon progressed into senior leadership roles, including Head of Chemistry, where she successfully implemented a new chemistry laboratory, achieved UKAS accreditation, and managed two ISO 17025 accredited laboratories. In these roles, she oversaw the maintenance of quality systems, ensured compliance with ISO standards, and acted as technical lead for client and assessment queries. Her ability to combine technical precision with operational efficiency has been a hallmark of her success.

Since joining Eurofins in 2023, Sharon has focused on supporting clients by translating complex technical requirements into practical, tailored solutions. Her deep understanding of laboratory processes and industry regulations enables her to guide businesses through compliance challenges and deliver testing services that meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Sharon is passionate about building strong client relationships and helping organizations achieve excellence in water hygiene and safety.
