Meet the Team | Ross Young - Business Development Manager

With a strong scientific background and nearly two decades of industry expertise, Ross Young plays a key role in supporting Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing UK Ltd.'s customers across the UK. After graduating from the University of Paisley with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, Ross began his career as an Electrophysiology Scientist, specialising in the assessment of new drug compounds using advanced ion channel analysis.

Ross went on to build over 18 years’ experience in the water utility sector, working extensively as an M&E Project Manager. During this time, he led the installation and commissioning of critical water treatment infrastructure including chemical dosing systems, membrane filtration plants, boreholes and process control instrumentation. His work has taken him across the UK, collaborating with the majority of the nation’s major water utility companies.

Since joining Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing UK Ltd. in 2019 as one of our Business development Managers, Ross has been responsible for managing commercial activities and supporting clients in accessing reliable, high-quality testing services. His practical knowledge and industry insight enable him to understand the challenges faced by customers and advise on tailored testing strategies that ensure safety, compliance and operational efficiency.

Ross’s blend of scientific expertise and real-world industry experience makes him a valued partner to water treatment professionals looking for trusted analytical support.
