Course overview
This live online training course provides essential Legionella awareness with a focus on food manufacturing environments. Delegates will learn what Legionella is, where it can be found in food processing equipment and water systems, and how risks are assessed, controlled, and monitored. The session also covers UK legal requirements and responsibilities, with practical insight into interpreting test results.
An optional online assessment is offered immediately after the training. Those who pass will receive a Certificate of Achievement in addition to their attendance certificate.
Who should attend
The course is designed for food manufacturing Technical and Quality professionals, along with other staff seeking awareness-level training on Legionella risks. It is not sufficient on its own for Statutory Duty Holders or Responsible Persons, who require more advanced training.
