Important update | Sample submissions for chemistry and microbiology testing
Eurofins Food Testing UK is committed to making improvements to optimise operations and provide the best possible service delivery. While our Chemistry and Microbiology teams may be based on the same sites, the testing is carried out in separate laboratories.
To ensure your samples are processed quickly and without delay, please follow these guidelines:
- Separate samples: Chemistry and Microbiology testing requires separate samples which are ideally boxed in separate packages
- Clear labelling: Each package must be clearly marked as either “Chemistry” or “Microbiology”
These requirements also support our Europortal sample registration process, designed to improve sample tracking and turnaround times. Clear separation and labelling helps ensure your samples are directed to the right laboratory quickly and reduces the risk of misrouting.
We appreciate your cooperation with this process. By following these steps, you are helping us maintain efficient service and reliable results. If you have any questions or require support with sample submissions, please contact our team.
