Eurofins Food Testing UK offers targeted testing for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), specifically Trifluoroacetic Acid (TFA) and related ultrashort-chain compounds, in wines.

White paper | TFA and TFMS in juice and fruit/vegetable purees
Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) and trifluoromethane sulphonic acid (TFMS) were determined in juices and drinks (n=37) together with fruit/vegetable purees (n=9) for small children. The results showed elevated levels of TFA, especially, in orange juice and in some hand-squeezed oranges.
