Our Eurofins Food Testing laboratory in Linlithgow is approved by DEFRA and the Scottish Government as a Poultry Health Laboratory for the official Control of Salmonella in Poultry Order (CSPO); covering Poultry, Broilers and Turkeys for UK- wide clients.

Consultancy | Shelf life validation
We can help you determine the shelf-life of new or reformulated products and validate the shelf-life through personalised product testing programmes. Including
- Testing of routine and non-routine biochemical and microbial indicators affecting shelf life such as Histamine, Total Volatile Base Nitrogen (TVBN)* and controls for Clostridium botulinum*, respectively
- Guidance on application of ‘Use By’ or ‘Best Before’ dates
- Providing shelf-life testing recommendations
- Interpretation of shelf-life testing results
