Vehicle Identification and Comparison
It is almost impossible for someone to drive around an urban area without being imaged on CCTV. Vehicle movements, traced back to an owner, often provide important evidence to an investigation. In the early stages, we are often instructed to determine the make and model of an unidentified vehicle. Once the make and model has been determined, we often conduct reconstructions to provide suitable comparative material in order to assess whether or not two vehicles are one and the same.
Being able to recover the registration from imagery is most helpful, but scuffs, scratches, window stickers and other features all assist.
