Proof of compliance
The Group supports industries and contractors in monitoring and minimising their environmental impact on the surroundings and provides proof of compliance with regulations and permits. We survey land for contamination and provide proof of sick or healthy buildings and working environments. We also play a leading role in developing and verifying new methods for testing and labelling consumer products such as toys, textiles, hygiene products, furniture and carpets. Our proprietary compact test-kit for soil and water analysis (“TerrAttesT”) and our devices for monitoring air pollution (indoor or ambient air) can be easily handled and returned to us for analysis, from anywhere in the world.
Detecting dangerous traces
Testing for a very broad range of pesticides and metabolites - often even more harmful than the pesticides - is another key assay offered internationally. In dioxin testing, Eurofins is the global market leader. The analysis of dioxins and furans requires state-of-the-art technology to detect even minute traces of these and other Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Our expertise and R&D efforts in this field are demonstrated by more than 260 articles in scientific publications.
Accuracy you can rely on
Reliability and accuracy of environmental data is essential for the correct assessment of a potential health risk and also to ensure that implementation of often very costly environmental remediation is based on correct assumptions and data. Quality of environmental data is a key issue for Eurofins and we are proud that Eurofins has been appointed by the Danish Government as National Reference Laboratory for testing soil and water.
