Agricultural testing lab appoints to expand business

The agricultural testing services division of Eurofins UK has appointed specialist Steve Croxton as Agricultural Business Development Executive.

Steve has a background in independent agronomy and renewable energy specialising in Miscanthus for Biomass production.

With over 40 years of experience in the agricultural sector through their ADAS pedigree, Eurofins offers rapid, reliable, cost effective analysis which is totally independent.

Eurofins has a growing range of tests for the agricultural sector including soil analysis for arable, grassland and protected horticulture; hydroponic solution analysis; silage and feedstuffs analysis; compost testing to PAS 100 and fertiliser values of manure, slurries and liquid waste. The laboratory has recently developed the first fast and cost effective method to predict the nutrient content of manures, slurries and biosolids using Near Infra Red Spectroscopy (NIRS) technology.
