Eurofins started operating in Nantes in 1987 with one patented technology, the SNIF NMR natural product authenticity testing method and 4 employees.Today Eurofins is a global leader in bioanalysis with over 7,000 employees in 29 countries around the world and will generate sales in excess of EUR460m in 2007.

If one had invested EUR 26,143 in the company at the time of the IPO, this stake would now be worth EUR 1 million. This refects an increase in the share price over the period of 3,600% from EUR 1.83 at IPO to 67.9 on 17th September2007 and equates to an annualised return of 49.4%.
