Deputy Laboratory Manager - Acton

We are looking for a Deputy Laboratory Manager for our Water Microbiology team in Acton.
Key duties include:
- Deputising as required for the Laboratory Manager, including the supervision of laboratory staff in all aspects of the laboratory service and commercial activities
- Maintaining and developing knowledge of, and presenting the full range of Eurofins services to key customers
- Identifying opportunities for sales and feeding back information to the UK sales team
- Being familiar with laboratory LIMS software, understanding and being able to implement processes relating to sample/test data entry and ensuring that key account information and contact details are accurate and kept up to date
- Carrying out client visits, conducting site assessments and assisting with problem solving at clients’ premises
- Analysing samples and entering results data on to computer systems
- Supervising projects and performing method validation as required
A technical qualification in microbiology or food chemistry, or relevant experience, is required.
